Mama has performed in clubs and theaters nationwide and has opened for legendary comedian Tony Woods, a longtime mentor to Dave Chappelle. His growing online presence has brought him a global audience, with viral clips and stand-up segments reaching millions of viewers across platforms. His recent work surrounding his “Monica” bit sparked widespread online discussion and coverage, further expanding his reach beyond traditional comedy circuits.
Currently, Mama is couchsurfing across all 50 states, documenting the lives of comedians and the realities of touring stand-up in America. The project combines travel, interviews, and live performances into a raw, personal portrait of comedy as both survival and artistic pursuit. Along the way, he has performed in cities across the country, building a grassroots following through word of mouth and social media.
In addition to stand-up, Mama continues to perform as a jazz drummer and incorporates musical sensibility into his comedic timing and rhythm. He is actively touring, releasing new material online, and developing his documentary, positioning himself as a distinctive voice bridging European introspection with American stand-up tradition.
